Humans Of Northwood: Sara Donatello ‘18

“I’m from Lake Placid, NY. Northwood has been a part of my life for 5 years, so I guess saying 4 year survivor doesn’t do it justice. I like to think of myself as mature and a leader in the school. A lot of people call me sassy. I like being on the lake, swimming, laying in the middle of the water on a boat, listening to music and not having to think about a single thing. I came to Northwood because it seemed liked a perfect fit for me, especially since my dad works here. My favorite Northwood memory is probaby Winter Carnival, specifically broomball. It’s just such a great time around campus for everyone. I would probably tell my freshman self to stay on top of homework — seriously! But also, be more social. I’m not sure what exactly I want to do after Northwood, but I do know I want to go abroad. Studying abroad is just so interesting to me and I can’t wait to travel. I see myself living somewhere in Europe in 10 years.”
