Humans Of Northwood: Sierra Benjamin ‘18

SierraBenjamin

“I’m from Florida, USA. I like to sleep a lot, lay around, watch Netflix. I also like to deliver flowers for my aunt’s business. I eat a lot; that’s how I get out of the house. Every day I go out, get Chick-fil-a, and then go to the gym, of course. I came to Northwood because they didn’t have hockey down South. I would go back and tell my freshman self, “quit kidding yourself… you’re gay.” Seriously, I’d tell myself to study hard and get good grades because it’s really important. I want to play college hockey, and after I get my degree, I want to work with kids with disabilities. In 10 years, I see myself in Miami, laying on my boat with friends, listening to music, and being very happy.
