Head coach Trevor Gilligan thought his team got off to great starts in both games, but said, “I thought we got loose and complacent in the second half of game one, and we used it as a learning tool heading into game two. We stayed within our structure more consistently in our second outing against the Monarchs. Guys tried to cheat the game a bit too much with a lead on Friday, but overall it was a step in the right direction.”
