The first game, from the start, started with Niagara in control as they scored within the first minute of the game taking the lead 1-0. Just a couple minutes later Niagara put another one on the board pushing the score to 2-0. In the second period, the Huskies started to get opportunities as Margot Rouquette ‘20 (Defense) scored off a shot from the point making the score 2-1. Niagara wasn’t going to hold back as they added another two to the score controlling the game at a score of 4-1. In the third, Niagara had added another four to take the win 8-1.

The second game of the weekend proved to be a better game for the Huskies as they held with the Eagles without many scoring chances.

With this weekend’s game, the Huskies move to 1-1-1 on the season. Up next for the Huskies is a two-game series at home against Trinity. Follow the Girls’ Hockey Team on Facebook and Twitter for live play-by-play updates year round.
