Humans of Northwood: Rachel Hinkley ’21

My name is Rachel Hinkley. I’m fifteen years old, a sophomore, and I’m from Swedesboro, New Jersey. I’m on Northwood Girls’ Hockey team. There are eighteen players, including myself, in my team, and we have a lot of fun together. We are all one big family. We’ve already had some practices and games. I can’t wait for the rest of this season! So far, the year has been going well. I like all of my teachers and students in my classes. When I’m not playing hockey, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and watching Netflix. My favorite Netflix show is The Walking Dead. I think that the opportunities that Northwood offers on weekends are amazing ways to meet new people who I normally don’t hang out with. For example, I went camping and cliff jumping with Mr. Dingle once, and it was a really fun experience that I don’t get to do too often. It was fun branching out to people outside the hockey team.
