(January 6-8, 2017) This past weekend the boys 16U team traveled to Mt. Laurel New Jersey for four league games. It was a dominating weekend for the Huskies as they went 4-0, outscoring their opponents by a total of 22-3. In game one, Northwood defeated the Westchester Express 15U team 6-1. In the second game the boys won 5-2 over the NYC Cyclones. In game three the Huskies had a convincing 7-0 win against the Igloo Jags and then ended the weekend by shutting out the Delaware Ducks 4-0.
Head Coach Trevor Gilligan said, “I thought it was a solid weekend in that we got better as the games went along. It was good preparation for our upcoming Northwood tournament games.”
The U16 record now stands at 32-4-2.
