Head Coach Silengo said,  “We came out flat and Rice Memorial jumped on us early.  If not for P.O. in net the score would have been much worse than 1-0 after the first.  We played better as the game went on and had a few chances, but their goalie played great and we were unable to even the score.” Sunday Silengo said,  “We started strong and jumped on them early, scoring 2 in the first” and the boys won 5-4. Martin Simanek (defense, 2017) connectd for the first goal off a great passing play by Safwaan Khan (forward, 2019). Stephen Gilligan (forward, 2017) added another goal later in the period.  In the second period Evan Carroll (forward, 2017) found the back of the net on a breakaway before Gilligan added another. In the third Rice Memorial scored 3 quick goals to tie it up before Tomer Vinitski (defense, 2017) tallied on the powerplay with less than one minute to go off a feed from Jacob Mosakowski (forward, 2017).  Drew Goldberg (2017)  played solid in net and made some big saves to secure the win.
