Prep Team goes 2-2 in Shady Side Tourney, Falls in Finals

u16(November 25-27, 2016) In the first game of the Shady Side Tournament the prep team fell to Wyoming Seminary 4-0.  Head Coach Selingo said, “At the Shady Side Academy Thanksgiving tournament we came out flat, allowing Wyoming Seminary to capitalize early.  Once we found our legs it was too late in the game.” The Huskies carried that energy late in the game into Saturday, beating both Shady Side Academy and St. Francis by a score of 4-1, “playing harder, smarter, and more physical hockey” according to Silengo.  And the Huskies moved on the the championship to face Wyoming Seminary once again.  PO Marchand (2107) played a solid game in net, but the Huskies were unable to put the puck by the Wyoming Seminary goaltender and they fell 3-1.
