The Prep hockey team took a trip up to Montreal on Friday, November 11th, to take on Ulysse Academy’s U18 team. They lost 3-1, with Zach Ellsworth (Defense, 2020) scoring the only Northwood goal scored on the power play in the second period. Kyle Bavis ‘19 was in goal.

Two days later, the prep team hosted Ulysse Academy at the Olympic Center here in Lake Placid for a rematch. The boys came away with a 3-1 win with a goal by Carson Hall (Forward, 2022) in the 2nd period, and two goals by Sutton Allard (Forward, 2019) at the 15:03 mark in the 2nd period and at then again late in the 3rd. Wyatt Friedlander ‘19 was in goal.
The acting head coach of the squad for this series was Mr. Jeff Miller, who filled in for Mr. Tom Broderick, the usual head coach. Mr. Jim Dingle came out of coaching retirement to assist Mr. Miller and his service to the team earned him the game puck in the win on Sunday.
