It is springtime on campus, and with the warm weather, comes the senior privilege of being able to wear shorts. Northwood has a tradition of relaxing dress code for the seniors between spring break and graduation.

This morning, the senior class received an email from Mr Riffle that read:

Seniors,

Mr. Maher has approved your request to wear shorts during the class day.  This is effective immediately.  Please keep in mind:

1) No gym shorts

2) No flip-flops

3) Polo or button down shirts with a collar must be tucked in.

4) Still no hats allowed during the class day.

Senior Jesper Peltonen had this to say about the news:  “It is a privilege; I have waited for this since I got to Northwood.”
