The Pets of Northwood

In the fall and spring time you can see faculty pets running around outside with students playing Frisbee or catch. At Northwood, students often spend time with faculty pets, and the animal companionship is good for student morale.

Pets bring the Northwood community closer because they make Northwood feel more like home, which is one of the ways Northwood is different from a typical school. Pets bring personality and responsibility to the school, because students sometimes watch the pets or feed them when faculty members are away.

Northwood students make special bonds with the pets. Here is a look at some of the pets that give Northwood its character.
