Senior Stephen Gilligan had a scoring chance vs. Bridgton at the Northwood Invitational.

(January 21-22, 2017) The boys prep team made the trip to Bridgton Academy in Maine this weekend for two games. In the first game Northwood prevailed 3-1 with all three goals from Anders Johnson (Defense, 2017). Head Coach Jeff Silengo said, “We could not get into a rhythm so we focused on playing simple and hard hockey.  We calmed down late in the game and began passing better.” Drew Goldberg (2017) played a stellar game in net to record the win.

In the second game the Huskies were down 2-1 late in the 3rd before Joe MacLean (Forward, 2017)  added a goal to extend the game to overtime. Ethan Bartlett (Defense, 2017)  iced the game in overtime with a coast to coast rush to give the Huskies the victory. PO Marchand (2017) recorded the win between the pipes. Silengo was pleased with the weekend: “These two wins helped us get closer to our goal of making the playoffs,” he said.
