(January 22, 2017) Still high from a 3-0 showing at the Northwood Invitational, the Junior Team was home again for a Sunday afternoon game vs Albany Academy. In a closer game than expected, the Huskies defeated the Cadets 2-1.
Northwood goals were scored by Simon Morberg (Forward, 2017) and Kevin Lombardi (Forward, 2017). Matt Petizian (2017) recorded the victory in net.
Head Coach Chadd Cassidy spoke about the team’s effort saying, “We certainly were not as sharp as we would have liked, but we found a way to get a positive result. It was a good lesson for our group about the need to be sharp every single game.”
